Taking your Van from Cairnryan to Larne

Taking your van from Cairnryan to Larne with P&O Ferries couldn’t be easier, no matter if you are travelling for work or leisure, so you will be prepared for either working or exploring in Ireland depending on the reason for your trip across the Irish Sea.

Making Your Van Booking

If your van is 7m or less in length you can book your crossing through our website, simply select ‘Van’ from the drop down list when you book your trip and ensure you have your van’s dimensions to hand as you will be asked to input these too.

In addition to this, you will also be asked to declare whether you will be carrying commercial goods, and will need to declare that these goods are non-hazardous. Should you be looking to bring hazardous goods on board please call our Freight team on 01304 863875.

Commercial or Personal Goods

You are welcome to bring commercial goods, such as exhibition materials, tools, goods for onwards sale, and removal services, on board with you. You will be charged the correct VAT, which is dependent on your country of departure, when you make your booking.

Personal goods, including your own furniture, hobby equipment, car or boat, will not incur a VAT charge as these are not classed as commercial items.

While You’re on Board

While on board, treat yourself to a delicious meal in the Food Court, relax and unwind in the Club Lounge, or have a drink in the bar. Whatever you chose to do during your crossing, you are sure to arrive in your destination feeling refreshed and ready for your work or leisure plans.
