“All-inclusive ferry fares that cover a car and passengers are tempting families away from flying as they try to make their money go further,” says Simon Johnson, sales and marketing director.
Between Good Friday and Easter Monday inclusive, P&O Ferries will carry 132,000 passengers on its Dover – Calais service, compared to 98,000 in 2008.
“At a time when many travel pundits say the bottom has fallen out of the of the overseas Easter tourist market, we’re bucking the trend,” Johnson added.
