French deal is a hole-in-one for golfers

Keen golfers can sail over to Northern France with P&O Ferries to make the most of a great deal on top courses in the region.

The Pas-des-Calais area features some of the finest French golf courses along its 120 km Opal Coast. A special “Golf Pass” deal offers the chance to play nine of the 18-hole courses located along the coastline between Dunkerque and Baie de Somme for just €250. The pass is valid for 15 days and offers access to the historic Scottish links-style course at Wimereux, a choice of three courses to suit different abilities at Le Touquet and a spectacular course overlooking the Aa Valley in Saint Omer. The other courses are at Hardelot, Nampont-Saint-Martin, Belle Dune and Arras.

Standard return fares for a two-week trip on the Dover-Calais service with P&O Ferries start from £55 for a car and up to five passengers. There are no luggage limits so golfers can load up their clubs and invite a friend or two along at no extra charge for the ferry crossings.

For more information or to book call 08716 64 64 64 or visit www.POferries.com. The golf pass can be purchased in advance at www.golfencotedopale.com.
