P&O Ferries helps out with holiday of a lifetime

P&O Ferries played host to dozens of terminally ill children crossing the Channel on their way to an experience of a lifetime at Disneyland Paris.

The children travelled on the Pride of Burgundy from Dover due to the company’s support for the Hackney Carriages Magical Taxi Tour. A fleet of more than one hundred black cabs made their way onto the ship for the annual trip, which is the result of a long-standing relationship between P&O Ferries and the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.

The organisations have worked together since 1994 to help more than 3,000 children enjoy a break from treatment for illness by getting away for a holiday at the Disney resort with family and friends.
