The Johann Jacobs Museum in Zurich is a museum which explores the cultural history of coffee.
It has a wide collection of exhibits including porcelain, silver, paintings and graphic arts and, according to its website, "brings to life the fascinating history of coffee as a cultural, social and political phenomenon".
Interactive displays and exhibitions also help to educate visitors.
The museum examines the way in which the beverage has influenced the lifestyle and habits of consumers over its 500-year history in the west.
Topics covered in the museum include how the drink affected life in the Orient, how it was traded with Britain and other western countries through to its role in internet cafes and coffee bars of today.
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland and is the country's main commercial and cultural centre.
Surveys in 2006 and 2007 found that people living in Zurich had the "best quality of life" in the world.
