Between September 4th and 7th the Omega European Masters series will arrive in Switzerland, giving fans of this sport the chance to watch some of the world's top players in action.
Held in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, the event takes places in "one of the most beautiful places in the world", according to MySwitzerland.com.
The travel website adds: "Just as much as the spectators, the players appreciate the September rendezvous."
It explains that for the players travelling to the Valais means they get to experience an "authentic, alpine, almost bucolic" landscape, while partaking in the event.
Crans-Montana's tourist board describes the resort as renowned for its "acclaimed" golf courses and adds that Severiano Ballesteros was voted the best facility in the country for this sport.
Furthermore, it says that Golf Monthly and Golf Magazine have rated its seventh hole as one of the 40 best in the world.
