    Pick up some bargains in Austria

    The Naschmarkt in Vienna is one of the city's most popular attractions.

    It has market stalls with a wide variety of foods on offer including meats, seafood, baked goods, cheeses and exotic spices.

    Restaurants around the Naschmarkt are also recommended and provide food of all types such as sushi, kebabs, seafood and fish.

    There is also a flea market several streets long offering a wide variety of goods from household appliances to furniture.

    On Saturdays the flea market is expanded and hundreds of tourist flock to the markets from around Austria and the rest of Europe.

    Naschmarkt is the most popular market in Vienna and has existed since the 16th century.

    From the turn of the 19th century, all fruits and vegetables arriving on carts from around the country had to be sold at the Naschmarkt.

    Austria can be reached by ferry to the Netherlands or France for those on a driving holiday.
