One of Europe's best wine festivals takes place in Vienna this summer.
Held every two years to showcase the best in Austrian and international wine, Vievinum takes place at the impressive Hofburg Imperial Palace.
This lavish event runs from May 31st to June 2nd, with organisers MAC Hoffmann already working on preparations.
Originally launched ten-years ago, Vievinum has grown to be one of the more highly regarded wine festivals among industry experts.
Well-known winemakers from across the world will be on hand to offer hints and tips, as well as hosting tasting sessions and offering insights into the industy.
One highlight of this year's festival will be a comparison of Pinot Noir from Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
As the official seat of government, the Hofburg is a must-visit on any trip to Austria. The former Royal residence dates back to the 13th century and showcases some of the best baroque architecture. The impressive building faces out on to the historic Heldenplatz public square.
