    Belgium still loves techno

    Category: ferry to Belgium news

I Love Techno will make a welcome return to the Flanders Expo in Ghent on Saturday November 15th to stage Belgium's premier dance music event.

Comprising of five rooms, each holding 5,000 visitors, the event organisers expect to host a number of famous acts to carry on past traditions.

Holidaymakers from all over the world will be descending on the Flemish city to get involved with a line-up boasting over 40 artists.

British artists Underworld and Hot Chip will be playing at the festival, following in the footsteps of the Prodigy who performed live in 2004 and German electro band Kraftwerk, who headlined two years previously.

I Love Techno organisers gave tips on how attendees should enjoy their trip, stating that they would be keeping alcohol, drugs and energy drinks away from the event to ensure people are as safe as possible and have fun with friends.

Travel guide Lonely Planet states that Ghent is particularly pedestrian-friendly as 1997 marked the start of a ban of cars in the city centre, making it safer for shoppers.
