This month will see people from all over Europe enjoying a short break to Belgium to take part in its famous beer festival Oktoberfest.
Running for more than 40 years, celebrations and events will be held throughout the month, with the main weekend on October 20th and 21st.
Beers which will be on sale include Maes, Grimbergen, Palm, Rodenbach, Hommel, De Koninck Tripel, Brugs Wit, Cherry, Hapkin, Tuborg and Dikke Methilde. This year's taste of the year is Oerbier, which comes from Esen, a village in Diksmuide.
It is brewed in small quantites in a copper wash kettle and is the product of two brothers' hard work. They said: "If we don't bring the brewery back to life nobody will!"
The celebrations kick off in full at 18:30 and there is a €3 entrance fee. Groups rates are also available. Participants will be able to remember their weekend break with souvenirs and t-shirts.
