Those with an eye for a good picture as well as a bargain may be looking for a cheap ferry trip to France next month.
Paris' Month of Photography takes place in the capital from November 2nd to December 1st and was created 20 years ago to raise the profile of photography.
It is part of the European Month of Photography, which is this year entitled European Photography, between tradition and transformation.
The various exhibitions and displays aim to explore the new technologies in producing and displaying images and question the current position of photography, where inspiration comes from and what form it gives to the perception of the world.
At Paris' Maison Europeenne de la Photographie four exhibitions are on show as part of the event and will run to January 25th.
The work of various photographers and artists will be on display at the venue on the Rue Francois Miron.
