Circus celebration to take place in France

Astonishing acrobatics, terrifying tight ropes and electrifying animal performances are all set to take France by storm next year.

The World Circus Festival of Tomorrow will be held in the nearby nation between January 29th and February 1st, budgeting Brits booking their travels early may be interested to know.

Acts from the Beijing Circus, the Moscow Circus and the Knie Circus, as well as local talent Ecole Fratellini have all been enlisted to ensure a high quality show is delivered to expectant audiences.

Travel website World Travels said: "The annual Circus Festival provides an unequalled opportunity to see top international circus performers from famous schools together under one roof."

Clowns, agile acrobats and animal trainers will also feature during the show, putting their all into updating the circus tradition for modern audiences.

Holidaymakers heading to France may want to do so by cross channel ferry, which William Gibbons of the Passenger Shipping Association says is an easier option.

"You are travelling on your car by ferry you don't have to worry about … liquids, you can literally take the kitchen sink in the car if you want to," he explains.
