Disneyland Paris launches new firework display

The Disneyland Paris theme park will launch the Disney Wishes firework display in France this summer.

According to What's on When, the display will include music and video projections along with the traditional fireworks. The display will hang over Sleeping Beauty's castle at the park during July and August.

It is based on a display which has also been seen at other Disney parks including the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Another aspect of the display is when Tinkerbelle flies out from behind the castle with shining wings as if by magic.

The Magic Kingdom version has been described by About.com as a "subtle ... and captivating presentation", telling the story of "making wishes come true through familiar songs, the voices of animated characters, and, of course, pyrotechnics".

According to the Telegraph, potential property investors should turn to buying homes near major tourist attractions such as Disneyland Paris in order to ensure there will be visitors all year round.
