The Louvre is playing host to the artistic talents of Renaissance painter Mantegna until the beginning of the New Year.
Art fanatics will no doubt be interested in a ferry trip to France over the next 30 days, with the display showing landmark works of the Italian painter as well as a range of engravings, manuscripts, drawings and sculptures from throughout the career of the "exceptional figure", according to the museum.
"Besides the guided tour, the multimedia guide and the tour for younger visitors are all available on the spot; lectures, films and readings are all programmed in the auditorium," the event organisers added.
The exhibition plans to display the work until January 5th 2009, which could make it a great festive treat for ferry users.
According to the Artchive, Mantegna's most famous work, the Agony in the Garden, was painted remove around 1450 and was inspired by a drawing made by his new father in law Jacopo Bellini.
