Ferry users are encouraged to book now in time for marking the 90th anniversary of the end of the First World War in France on November 11th.
Standing at the gateway to the French town of Ypres, the Menin Gate has been noted by a national columnist as having unrivalled emotional atmosphere.
Tony Dawe of the Times said that although many will pay their respects to fallen soldiers at Edwin Lutyens' Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, those hoping to pay their respects to the British war dead can also tour the cemeteries maintained by the British Legion.
He said: "They will be a place of pilgrimage for thousands of Britons, young and old, descendants of those who fought and many more who just want to pay their respects and give thanks for our deliverance."
Mr Dawe added that the horror of war could also be experienced at the Cloth Hall in Ypres, where the Flanders Field Museum is based.
The Royal British Legion plans to plant over 61,000 poppies beside the Menin Gate to remember the missing soldiers on Remembrance Day.
