Families taking a holoday to Germany later this year could well stop off in Berlin for one of the city's best festivals.
Popular with both tourists and locals, the Spandau Spring Festival has been a hit with people of all ages since its first outing in 1996.
The funfair proves particularly popular with youngsters, with roller coasters, ghost trains and water rides all making for a fun-filled day out.
Older kids will enjoy the go-karts and all the family can try the culinary delights on offer at the plethora of stalls that pop up during the festival.
A particular highlight is the Spandau Beer Tower, which offers an excellent view across the whole of the city from its top-floor restaurant serving the best local ale, crepes and sausages.
Entrance to the event is free and this year it runs from February 29th to March 16th.
