A 400-year-old house in Germany is host an extensive collection of puppets, which fans of the tool of children's theatre may want to visit.
In the medieval Hanseatic Town of Luebeck over 1,000 puppets have been collected from all over the world for enthusiasts to admire.
Lubeck Museum of Theatre Puppets exhibits ventriloquist's puppets, shadow puppets as well as "mechanical smokers", to name just a few of the items on display.
Fritz Fey is the dedicated collector behind the display, which features puppets from Africa, Asia and Europe spanning three centuries.
The museum's official website describes the collection as "a fascinating world within historical walls that has already delighted thousands and thousands of visitors".
It adds that the museum is the "greatest of its kind on earth".
Luebeck is located in north Germany, just 66 kilometres (about a 50-minute drive) from the nation's second-largest city, Hamburg.
