Amsterdam will play host to the international tango festival later this month.
Tangomania takes place between December 27th and 30th, bringing Dance Year 2007 to a dramatic conclusion.
The tango, which originated in Argentina, is one of the most passionate and exhilarating of dance routines and visitors will have the chance to watch demonstrations from some of the world's top dancers. Anyone choosing to take in this year's event will get a chance to see the likes of Fabian Salas and Carolina del Rivero; Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes; and Gustavo Maveira and Giselle Anne.
Tangomania will see events taking place at various locations across the city towards the end of this month, making the festival a perfect event for those tourists heading to Amsterdam on a cross channel ferry for a last-minute New Year break.
Amsterdam is easily accessible by ferry and offers a number of cultural attractions such as the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum.
