Dance event coming to Amsterdam

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is coming to the city once again this year, bringing leading figures from the world of dance music.

Spanning generations, the musicians that shaped decades of music will be coming together to set the agenda for the next year.

The 12th year of the event will welcome an audience of more than 65,000, along with 2,000 professionals form the industry.

Audiences will be treated to one-off performances as well as seminars. Performers will include Groove Armada, Dave Spoon, Bodyrox, Soul Central and Mark Knight, to name a few. Dirty South, from Australia, are expected to be a highlight, performing on October 19th with various international DJs.

Labels putting on showcases will include Hed Kando, Cocoon, Erick Morillo's Subliminal imprint and Toolroom, reports InTheMix.

The event has been described as the premier industry get together in Europe. ADE runs from October 18th to 20th, making it ideal for those taking a short break and travelling on a cross channel ferry.
