Fans of dancing will be hard pressed to pass on the opportunity to attend the Haarlem Salsa Festival, taking place between October 24th and 26th.
The medieval city centre of Haarlem will be the home to the three-day event which hopes to influence salsa dancers from around the world, allowing them to meet, learn, dance and take inspiration, according to the event's organisers.
According planners, people can "enjoy high quality workshops taught by the best international teachers and be amazed by outstanding performances and excellent DJs who will keep your feet moving all night on the exclusive dance floor".
Workshops will be set up across the city to bring together people of all abilities, from beginners to advanced dancers, with teachers from all parts of the world including three couples from the UK as well as British DJ Sizzla.
Lonely Planet recommends that holidaymakers check out Haarlem's Grote Markt, which is home to a variety of cafes, historical buildings and museums.
