Category: ferry to Holland news
Tourist destinations in Europe will become a lot more popular over the next 18 months, it has been stated.
Graham McKenzie of TravelMole said that people were liable to losing out financially if they invested in holidays to long-distance holidays such as those in the Far East and Australasia, with the financial pressures of the current climate forcing people to dig much deeper for big investments.
He continued: "If we believe everything we hear in terms of the credit crunch then I think people will start to look carefully at where they go in terms of long haul."
As a result, those taking the ferry to European destinations such as Holland will benefit a lot more and could save money in the process as places closer to the UK can help a person cut down on travel costs.
In a recent survey by Kayak.co.uk, it was revealed that 60 per cent of those interviewed will be spending part of the festive period in a different country.
