Robeco Summer Concerts to wow holidaymakers

The annual Robeco Summer Concerts are set to wow holidaymakers in Amsterdam again this year.

According to the Amsterdam.info, the concert series takes place in July and August each year in the city's Concertgebouw, which it says has some of the world's best acoustics.

Organised into different categories, the concerts cater for children and adults across a range of genres, including jazz and guitar music.

Furthermore, this year during the series every Friday the Koorzaal will turn into the Robeco Jazz Cafe, giving music-lovers the chance to relax with a beer or glass of wine between 19:00 and 21:00 local time.

Another highlight will be the Robeco Zomercafe, which will open daily at 10:00 local time this summer and will feature a happy hour every Friday as part of Classic FM's sponsorship of the concert series.

The tourist website says: "Almost every evening through the summer there is a different concert and the choice is big."
