The Euromast tower offers visitors to Rotterdam the chance to get 360 degree panoramic views of the entire city from its viewing decks.
According to indianDenmark on Tripadvisor.com, the experience is like being at the top of the Eiffel Tower and the tower's rotating lift "makes the view of city better as you get higher and higher".
Observation platforms enable visitors to see views of the city's harbour and its modern architecture.
The tower is a concrete structure which was built between 1958 and 1960 for the 1960 flower and gardening fair, the Floriande. Its diameter is just nine metres and its walls are 30 centimetres thick.
As well as a "crows' nest" observation platform, the tower also has a restaurant.
The Euromast was originally 101 metres tall but an additional Space Tower was built on top of the existing structure to make it 186 metres tall.
