Unlimited wildlife available in Holland discovery centre

Michigan in Holland is the location of a 120-acre nature reserve known as the Outdoor Discovery Center of Wildlife Unlimited.

It aims to provide "outdoor learning opportunities" for visitors and to explain the importance of protecting wildlife and the environment.

According to the centre it is the "perfect place" for a number of outdoor activities including jogging, walking and enjoying the wildlife.

The centre has a birds of prey exhibition which hosts a number of unsaleable birds including eagles, hawks, owls, falcons and vultures.

Visitors may also be treated to the sight of a white-tail deer or a rocky mountain elk that are held in the De Witt Wildlife Education Facility.

The centre was founded in 2000 and has been introducing new attractions ever since.

It includes five ecosystems including dunes, prairies, pond, a hardwood forest and wet meadow.
