Costa Blanca in Spain has been voted the best beach holiday of 2007 at the British Travel Awards (BTAs) this year.
The purpose of the awards is to recognise and reward excellence in the travel industry, drawing results from experts and consumers. The top beach destination attracts millions of visitors each year, drawn to its warm water and beautiful sandy beaches which stretch for miles.
Indeed, the Cosat Blanca is the name given to a length of coastline which is 200km long. It runs from Torrevieja in the south to the town of Denia in the north, with famous spots such as Benidorm and Alicante along the way.
With water sports and relaxation to keep holidaymakers busy on the beach, not far away are options such as walks and the chance to explore native flora and fauna, suiting all tastes.
And the location stays popular year-round due to the warm weather which ahs made it famous.
