A caravan specialist has highlighted the need for people to take more holidays to avoid a possible burnout from too much work.
Marketing director for Towergate Bakers Paul Havenhand said that British workers were in need of a break due to the harder work ethic in comparison to international neighbours.
He continued: "As a nation we continue to work harder than many of our European counterparts, with fewer bank holidays and increasing number of hours worked per week."
Mr Havenhand added that a week or two away from the hectic schedules of work and life in general important for the recharging of batteries.
Furthermore, he said that "people do still view holidays as important", with a ferry trip perhaps giving the traveller a good way out of the country for a short break.
The ferry may be the best way to go after the European Regional Airline Association stated that the last cheap conventional oil reserves were gone, making the cost of flying more expensive.
