So how do I get there?

Start out at the Ferry Terminal on the E15, Follow signs 'Toutes Directions' then A16/E402, A28/E402, N28/E402, N338, N138/E402, A13/E05, A28/E402, D131, D4, D519, D46, D16, D246. Arrive at your destination.

A lovely village situated in Normandie and home of the world famous Camembert cheese.

Camembert dates back to the 18th century and its creator is Marie Harel. In 1855 one of Marie Harel's daughters presented Napoleon with a piece of the cheese, saying that it came from village called Camembert. He loved it and from that moment the cheese became known as Camembert. Today you can follow the Cheese trail, starting in model farm museum La Présidente in the village of Camembert and finishing in LactoPôle in Laval, a must-see museum for cheese lovers.

Is there a local speciality?
Make sure you try an authentic Camembert Fermier from La Ferme Héronnière, served with fresh baguette and a glass of local cider.

Any good activities around?
There is excellent fishing in the summer months at the Domaine D'orval or visit the stub Farm Le Haras de La Bonnerie.

When's market day?
No market in the village but try the farm shop of La Ferme Héronnière.
