A gem of a place, tucked away at the mouth of the Seine

Honfleur is a beautiful place to visit and is especially famous for its beautiful, picturesque port that is charmingly characterised by the slate fronted houses that overlook it. The Sainte-Catherine church is the largest church made from wood in France which also boasts a separate bell tower away from the principal building,.

When's market day?

There's an organic market on Thursday mornings and a traditional market every Saturday morning at the Place Ste Catherine.

Honfleur has long been an inspiration for French artists. Monet, Seurat and Boudin have all painted here.
