So how do I get there?
Start out at the Ferry Port on the E15, Follow signs 'Toutes Directions' then A16/A26, A216, A26, A4, D1.

chateau-thierry
A town with great historical value, Chateau-Thierry is the site of two important battles.
One battle took place 1814 in the Napoleonic Wars and over a century later in 1918 between the USA and Germany. Today the site of Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and memorial is nearby (south of the village of Bellau).
Visit the Cellars of the Pannier Firm, located in the 13C stone quarries and enjoy a guided tour of the champagne making process. Also look for the C15 Saint-Crépin church.

Marc de champagne is a champagne digestive, great for "trou Normand" (pause in between courses)
Any good activities around?
Practice your golf in one of the local golf courses (Golf du Val Secret or Golf de Champagne), or enjoy a swim in the local lakes ( Lac de Fère-en-& lake of Trélou-sur-Marne)
