P&O Ferries sail from Troon port, which is located just north of Ayr & Prestwick on the West coast of Scotland.
The port is easily accessible by road, rail and bus. When planning your trip, please remember that the check-in closes 30 mins before departure for vehicles, and 45 mins for footpassengers. We recommend you check-in at least 1hr before the scheduled departure time.

By car:
The Port of Troon is approached from the A78 from Irvine to the north & from the A77 from Ayr or from Kilmarnock to the west. Follow the signs to the Ferry Port. There is limited free of charge car parking at the port. Click here to view a map of directions to the port.
By coach:
There are frequent connections to Ayr and Glasgow.
By rail:
Troon railway station offers regular connections to Glasgow and Paisley. There are connecting services to Ayr, Kilmarnock and Newcastle. The railway station is approximately 20-30 minutes on foot from the Troon Ferry Terminal.
