P&O Ferries sail from Dover’s Eastern Docks located in the South East of England.

Your ferry crossing (Dover Calais) leaves from Dover's Eastern Docks, which are easily accessible by road and rail. When planning your trip, please remember that the check-in time for vehicles is 30 minutes before departure, and for foot passengers, 45 minutes before departure.

By car:
The Dover ferry terminal is approximately 1 mile from Dover town centre and is easily accessible from both the M2 and M20 motorways.  As you approach Dover follow the local signs for the Dover ferry terminal. On entering the port, keep to the left, joining the 'Vehicles with Reservations' lane to the check-in booths.

For customers on Dover Calais crossings who wish to leave a car in Dover, ample short and long stay parking is available at the main multi-storey car park at the entrance to Dover port. All parking is operated by the Dover Harbour Board and charged at reasonable rates.

Foot passengers:
Passenger who are travelling by foot can only travel between the hours of 08:25 - 19:35 Dover to Calais
and 06:30 - 22:00 Calais to Dover. 

By train:
The nearest main line train is Dover Priory - about 1.5 miles from the port and approximately 1 hour from London St Pancras.

By coach:
National Express operates a regular service to the ferry terminal for all departures and arrivals. The journey takes around 2hrs 30mins from London Victoria, stopping directly outside the Travel Centre.

By bicycle:
When leaving the ferry in Dover cyclists should join the red line to the dock exit. Do not attempt to cycle up the exit ramps onto the overhead roadway. The red line will direct you to a gate at ground level. Groups greater than 30 must wait at the bottom of the ramp for an escort.
