Pre-travel Covid-19 testing

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, some countries require travellers to produce a negative Covid-19 PCR test result on arrival. This is a test that can be completed by yourself at home and posted to a lab or dropped off at a designated point – your results will typically be shared with you within 24-48 hours. In most cases, the test needs to be taken 72 hours prior to arrival at your destination. You can find out the specific rules for the country you’re travelling to on the government’s travel advice pages.

Order a pre-travel coronavirus test

At P&O Ferries, we have teamed up with Screen4 LTD to offer our passengers pre-travel Covid-19 PCR self-tests. Costing £95, this test is ideal for those travelling to a country which requires a negative coronavirus test result on arrival, and you’ll have your results within 24-48 hours of the lab receiving your sample.

Please note that if you’re travelling as a family or group, each individual will need to have their own negative test result. If you are travelling to the Netherlands, a printed copy of your negative test result is required.

For more information and to order a pre-travel Covid-19 test for £95, please visit our dedicated page on Screen4’s website.
