MEET OUR SHIPS
Get to know our cross channel fleet – inside and out.
From our longest serving vessels to our newest additions, Spirit of France and Spirit of Britain, each one has a unique character.
Our ships are regularly renovated and refreshed, inside and out, so you’ll have a comfortable and enjoyable journey every time you sail with us.
With the capacity to carry 1,420 passengers and 530 cars, the Pride of Burgundy is actually one of our smallest ships measuring just 179.7 metres in length.
However, this ship has sailed on the Dover to Calais route since 1993, so she is very hard working!
The Spirit of Britain had its maiden voyage in 2011 which makes her one of our newest ships. At 213 metres long, this ship is one of the largest operating in Europe today.
In order to create a ship that offered everything that our customers want, our designers talked to passengers, staff and freight drivers about our Dover to Calais route which influenced the decisions that were made.
The Spirit of France also set sail for the first time in 2011 and is an impressive 213 metres in length.
In addition to improving the customer experience on board this ferry, it has also been designed to reduce drag so it can travel at a speed of up to 22 knots.
Launched in 1991 as the European Pathway, the Pride of Canterbury originally served P&O’s old Dover to Zeebrugge route as a freight ship.
Since then she has been renovated and updated to increase the number of cars and passengers she carries and to improve her manoeuvrability and facilities.
Originally serving P&O’s old Dover to Zeebrugge route from its launch in 1991, the Pride of Kent started its life as the European Highway before being updated.
Since she has been refurbished and converted she can carry an increased number of cars and passengers and has benefitted from better manoeuvrability and onboard facilities too.
