GETTING TO CALAIS

alais Ferry Terminal is easily accessible by road, rail, train and on foot.
Below you’ll find all the information you need to get there on your departure day.
Make sure you leave in plenty of time: Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure or 60 minutes if you’re on foot.

ON-DEMAND BUS SERVICE TO CALAIS TOWN

Service is in place from the 3rd of July and will operate until 03 September.

If you want to use this bus service you must advise the port during your check-in. If you know the time and date you will be travelling back please contect (ATLEAST 1.5 hours before you need the bus) the Tourist office in Calais: +33 3 21 96 62 4.
Bus fare must be paid when boarding the bus and the price is £2.00 or 1.20€


The First bus from the port leaves at 11:30 am and the last bus will leave at 6:40 pm.

Note: *If there are no requests received at Dover Port check-in or via the Tourist Office (for the return) the bus will not operate.

GETTING TO PORT

Finding your way to the port...

  • CAR

    The Port of Calais is directly connected to the A26/E15, providing access from Paris and the A16/E40, which provides the gateway from Benelux and the northern European motorway systems.

  • TRAIN

    Calais Ville station is situated in the centre of the town which provides a regular service to Paris Gard du Nord as well as other major towns and cities in Europe.

PLAN AHEAD

  • The terminal can get busy at peak times so please arrive in plenty of time for your ferry.
  • There is a free of charge public car park in front of the Terminal building.
  • It’s important we get everyone on board quickly so all ferries can depart on schedule.
