First Time Travelling by Ferry?

Never travelled by ferry before? Don’t worry. Below is our step-by-step guide of what to expect when you get to the port.

WHAT TO EXPECT

ARRIVING AT DUBLIN
  • Make sure you arrive early. Check-in closes one hour before departure.
  • Follow the signs to check-in.
  • Please let us know whether you have any pets travelling with you.
CHECKING IN
  • Have your photo ID ready and be prepared for a security check.
  • Check in with your booking reference. You will get your lane hanger to attach to your rear view mirror.
  • There is no Priority Boarding available on this route.
BOARDING
  • We’ll point you in the direction of your lane.
  • Drive and park up in the correct lane.
  • You’ll be guided onto the ship and a staff member will advise you where to park.
GETTING TO THE PASSENGER DECK
  • A staff member will show you how to get to the passenger deck via the stairs or lift, where you can collect your cabin key.
  • If you need extra assistance, please let one of our staff know.
  • If your pets are with you, they must stay in the car for the entire journey.

  • You are not allowed to bring alcohol on board the ferry.
