You can get to Liverpool Freeport ferry terminal easily by road, rail or bus. The P&O Ferries Liverpool port is in Bootle, approximately 4.5 miles from the centre of Liverpool.

Bus services for Liverpool Freeport depart from stops around the city centre between Monday and Friday. National Express coaches depart from Norton Street in the city centre to the rest of the UK.
The nearest station to the port is Bootle New Strand, 1.8 miles from the port. At Bootle there are regular connecting trains to Liverpool Lime Street, which has services to all over the north of England.
Taxi ranks can be found all around Liverpool city centre including Liverpool Lime Street. If you require a taxi from the ferry port, we recommend you pre-book as there is no taxi rank at the port.
