We love the city of Frankfurt and think it has so much character for you to enjoy. The half-timber medieval houses are like something straight out of a fairy tale, especially over the winter period when it snows. We are sure it will get you in a romantic mood. There are plenty of heritage sites for you to explore, but a favourite is the Catheral of Kasierdom that stretches high up into the sky.

Once you are done wandering around this beautiful city head over to Old Sachsenhausen home to many cafes, bars, bistros and charming restaurants. You can grab some traditional local delights for your dinner including pork knuckle and sauerkraut, or chicken schnitzel.
