2024 European Championships

The 2024 Euros will be hosted in a single country for the first time since 2016 when France hosted the tournament. This time, the honour of hosting goes to 3-times champion Germany, who will spread the tournament across 10 iconic stadiums nationwide.

This edition of the Euro Football Championships will contain most of Europe’s best footballing nations, including England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and The Netherlands. Scotland will also be another home nation taking part in the 2024 Euros.

Getting to mainland Europe to experience the European football championships has never been easier than with P&O Ferries. Take a ferry to France, and relax in our stylish all-inclusive Club Lounge, before heading down through the country on a football road trip that ends with Euro football at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Or why not head to the equally football-obsessed Netherlands, with our ferries from Hull to Rotterdam? You can journey down to the nearby cities of Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Cologne, and Gelsenkirchen which will all be hosting the next Euros football and are all home to some of the biggest football stadiums in Europe.

Further south is Olympique Lyonnaise one of France’s most successful teams, and Olympique Marseille, whose ground (Stade Velodrome) has been called the best football stadium in Europe.

The Netherlands and Belgium are also some of the best places to experience football in Europe. In Amsterdam, you’ll find Ajax and the Johan Cruyff Arena, and in Belgium, you can find clubs such as Anderlecht and Club Brugge who are known for developing some of the best footballing talent in Europe.
